Right now in Grove Park there is poor access to fruits and vegetables. Without a grocery store in the community, even those who want to eat healthier foods have a hard time doing so. It's time for Grove Park residents to stand up and advocate for better access to fresh fruits and vegetables. As members of the Grove Park community, you have valuable insight and passion that can help take this project in the right direction. About G.R.O.W.
G.R.O.W. is a new grassroots movement based in Grove Park. Our G.R.O.W. families meet bi-weekly to build community and discuss the structural barriers to health in the Grove Park community. We explore questions of why it's so hard to eat healthy food in Grove Park. We search for and fight for solutions to big picture challenges. And all along the way, we have fun meeting new families and building new connections.

We would love to have you at our G.R.O.W. meetings! At these meetings we will eat dinner together as a community (food provided!), play games and get to know each other, and, of course, discuss how we can make Grove Park a healthier place to live.

Dinner is served at 6PM, with the meeting running from 7 - 8:30PM.
